Cherry blossom this year

Spring was coming a little bit earlier in this year in Kyoto.
I was already surrounded by cherry blossom wherever I go in the end of March.

The weather was perfect while it was full of Sakura everywhere, and I also have been to some wonderful place to see them.

Here are some places I would like to share with you.

1.    Daigoji Temple

Subway Tozaisen *red line to “Daigoji station” exit 2 by a 10 mins walk.
Here is one of the famous place for Kyoto's early cherry blossoms.

Like the "Daigo of flowers ", Daigo-ji is famous for its cherry blossoms.
There are also Kawazu cherry blossoms, Crown of wing, Yoshino cherry blossoms, Yamazakura cherry blossoms, and Yaesakura cherry blossoms.
There are more than a hundred years of Yoshino cherry. It will take turns to bloom at this time.

This is the Yaesakura cherry blossoms for over 100 years.

There are three areas in Daigoji Temple inside, Garan area (Kondo Hall/Goji-no-to(five-storied pagoda)), Sanboin (garden), and Reihokan (Museum).

The weather was good, the color of Sakura and Sky was particularly dazzling and shinning.

It’s prettier as closed as we see.

Yoshino Sakura is everywhere from the outside to the Reihokan,
Kyoto is the breath of cherry blossoms when spring comes.

The cherry blossoms were surrendered to the five-storied pagoda. This is only the scenery in the spring.

The cherry blossoms show pink in Sanboin.

2. Heian Jingu Shrine
Subway tozaisen *red line to “higashiyama station” exit 1 by a 10 mins walk.
Heian Jingu Shrine has a cherry blossom lightup event and a okasaki ten-ship stone boat ride from this year.

It became warm, so visitors are also getting more and more.

The cherry blossoms along the river shape like a hydrangea which is also very cute.

The sides of the river in front of the Torii are also full.

Walking along the river, the scenery is as beautiful as a picture.

The time for the cherry blossom was short and it was only a few days before cherry blossoms began to blow.

3.   Cherry Blossom Park in Nanatani River (Kameoka City) It is recommended to come here if you do not like the place are full.
From the JR Sanin main Line "Kameoka Station", transfer to the Kameoka City bus and get off at the Nanatani Station, and you will see it.

For about 1km along the Nanatani River (Yawaragi no Michi), the visitor is treated to an overwhelmingly beautiful display of about 30 varieties of cherry trees a total number of 1,500. If there is no concept of this figure, Tetsugaku no michi l be about 2 km and 500 cherry trees, and it’s about 800 of Daigoji temple.

Whenever cherry blossoms are in season, there will have light-up at night.

Cherry trees burst into bloom and in early April, the Kameoka Cherry Blossom Festival adds enjoyment to the cherry blossom viewing.

Here is also one of great spot to picnic.

On this day, we went to see Sakura River to see the cherry blossoms, so we thought we can stay late to see the lights at night.

It’s all for this spring, see you next year, cherry blossoms.
