It’s getting warmer recently in Kyoto.
It’s time for Cherry blossom-viewing when we
talk about the spring in Kyoto.
And when we talked about cherry blossom in Kyoto, we don’t miss the most famous place in Kyoto, Kiyomizu temple.
This photo I took it’s when I went to view cheery
blossom in Kiyomizu temple last year, so don’t go now, it’s not yet.
Now I would like to show you the guesthouse that is
really closed Kiyomizu temple, which takes Keihan Railway to Kiyomizu Gojo
station by 5mins walks.
Before moving the furniture, let’s go inside and see it.
It’s our new project.
I think the iron grey wallpaper and the round
window make the design dignity.
Then, let’ see the entrance.
It’s partition in the middle, but it still looks
widely and comfortably.
The opening of the middle walkway also makes room
broader.
The color of the tatami and the wallpaper of alcove
are dark color which makes rest space more comfortable and calm.
Go to the dining space, as you can see in the photo, it’s a patio that put the sunshine in the house.
The dining table is the space where the foot can be
placed.
You can see from here both sides are rooms on the second floor.
Now let’s see the left side first.
The tone of room is basically grey color with dot
wallpaper which makes warmer.
The right side is the same, except the wallpaper.
One of the feature of Kyomachiya is export the girder.
Finally, I will end in this bathroom as we always
do.
All are this series of tiles and hinoki bathtub
which makes you good to enjoy in guesthouse.
