Kaikado Café

Lately, it opened a Kaikado café which is a store that has been made tea box for almost two hundred years.

“Kaikado " is established in 1875, which made all kinds of containers, copper, tinplate, brass and so on.  It’s the first handmade teapot, cups, such as coffee, tea.

It talked about traditional handicrafts, it may think a little bit long distant, but here this time we can experience the long ancient historical traces.

Kaikado café is just located at Kawaramachi nanajo tori which is directly connected to Kyoto main station,

Sitting on the side of the seat is also able to see the beautiful scenery.

There is some seat you may sit outside, as you can see there put some potted plants on the window.

The building is pretty old, and compared to fire hydrant next to the door is particularly lofty.

After we turned around, decided to sit down and think about what to order.

There are some lovely flower and sugar box, which make me want to see drinks putting in it quickly. 

The color of this pink is so cute, and also there put a lot of wooden decoration and simple furniture in the store.

It’s really put full of every generation tea box in the shelves.

There is one more feature in Kaikado café.

It will change the color by time, after years and years, if it didn’t paint.

It’s a trance of years.

The other little things are made of horseshoe.

Finally, here are our coffee.

I found that the shape of cheese cake is round, just look like the tea box here.

It’s really good.

You may take slowly to read books, either writing a diary, and relax here in the whole afternoon.
