Cherry blossoms in Kyoto

 

  

Spring is coming in Kyoto.

Wherever you go, you may see Sakura around.

Talking about cherry blossoms in Kyoto, there is a bunch of lists in hand to recommend.  

Here are my collections of sightseeing spot in Kyoto where you can find Sakura.

1.    Kyoto Gyoen 京都御苑

Transportation: you may take Subway Karasuma line to get off in Karasuma Imategawa station, or Marutamachi Station.

   

     

     

What a pity that it was raining during the time of cherry blossoms.

Nowadays, Kyoto Gyoen is a park where people can walk.

Where the emperor lived in the past, and then from the Meiji era transferred to Tokyo.

Now it’s one of the cherry blossoms seeing spot in Kyoto Gyoen.

There are various kinds of cherry blossoms inside, but the weather was not so good.

Some of cherry blossoms like this looks like a pink fall, and because of raining, the scenery is like a beautiful picture after cherry blossoms scattered.

The other kinds of cherry blossoms are beautiful as well.

The area in Kyoto Gyoen is 1300 meters long, 700 meters wide.

Where I go inside, there are various kinds of Sakura.

Here is not so crowd, if you want to enjoy the cherry blossoms where is definitely one of the great attractions.

2. Hirano jinja 平野神社

    Transportation: Bus 205 to Kinugasakomae Stop walking in 3 mins.
   
   
   

 The lantern shows sakura flowers symbol on it.
     

    

    

This one is also one of cherry blossoms seeing spot for night view.

      There are full of sakura from the entrance, and crowd people and seat.
      
     

  

The weather was not so good, but if you would like to see cherry blossoms, you’d better be in a hurry, because you can get in without application before.

     

     

Afterwards, I took some of pictures then waiting for darkness.

  

In a sudden to the night, it is also very beautiful.

3.   Light up in Nijo castle 二条城

 

     

Nijo castle is the construction of the early Edo period, where Tokugawa Ieyasu 徳川家康 lived.

It planted 45 kinds of 360 cherry blossoms tree, blossoming is about from the end of March to around the middle of April.

In particular, here is one of the great attractions that I recommend to visit inside.

 

      The event has not started so I decided to go inside to see sakura more clearly.

      

 

    This kind of cherry blossoms looks like an embroidered ball.  
   

   

    

   

At this time, the sky has been a bit dark, the lights dyed on the cherry blossoms and discoloration.

     

     

I really like the view of sunset.

At night, with the light color changes, cherry blossoms have become more shining.
It’s also one of the great point.

 

4.    Kamo River

Along Kiyomitsu gojo to the Gojo Bridge up to the north.

  

Along with Kamo River, the cherry blossoms are so pretty as like a painting into my eyes.

 

 

Sakura looks like wear a pink clothing with the river.

I think that Kyoto is a city where full of attraction here.

Moreover, there is one more picture to share with everyone.

     

      It provides from one of my friends.

     

     

It shows along Randen Railway *嵐山電鉄.

It only runs slowly to let visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms in this period.
