Book & Bed an accommodation bookstore in Kyoto

The one of beautiful bookstore was posted on my blog in last week.
I am going to share a bookstore that combined with a hotel can be stayed in-Book and Bed.
Book and Bed Tokyo has been opening since 2015, Now it’s second one in Kyoto.
I think that would be a very good concept to have like both, to live and to read, so let’s go and see it.

It’s not for stay a night though, I think it’s a new experience to sleep on a bookshelf.

As an introduction for Book and Bed on the internet, it provides a best sleeping time that you will have never experienced before “reading a favorite book, and falling asleep”.

Location is near alone Kamokawa river, and closed to Keihan Densha Shijo Gion station.

It was getting darker when I went there, so snug.

There are normally many people to ride on a bicycle, but it’s too cold to do it for this moment.

Now, I am going to have a look inside.

There were so many readers and hostel guests in that day, but it still had a vacancy room. 

From this side, it’s really like sleeping inside on a huge bookshelf.

It’s also my first time to see this kind of design.

Through the entrance, it’s narrow space but enough to lie down for a single.

The other type for a bed is that can see Kamokawa river, and it’s brighter and broader.

Whatever you would like to choose, it can be an enjoyable reading time still.

It can also be a non-disturb reading time for certain cover.

The ceiling is hang on books and Tungsten lighting bulb.

Creating an atmosphere that is surrounded by books.

You can seat on a sofa to have your own reading time, even though it is not going to stay in there.

I like the atmosphere which is surrendered by books.

Of course, let’s go and see washroom and sink.

The mirror above the sink reflects the bookshelf on the opposite side.

It looks like real bookshelf on it, so cool.

More obviously, the shop want to be like a bar, but it’s much more calm.

I think that it’s target for overseas customers, so I see the various books from overseas as well.

And then I was attracted into an illustration book which is a journal in Iran that a Japanese written.

I think I am interested in this kind of book as well.
